Cybersecurity Risk Management Virtual Event Series has ended
This session will focus on the importance of international interoperability of cybersecurity standards and frameworks for policy, regulation, and legislative development. Through the adoption of a shared starting point for developing national cyber frameworks, countries can develop these policies and regulations in a way that allows for more seamless deployment and use of cybersecurity practices across countries.  This helps businesses across sectors to offer the latest solutions to markets across the world and allows countries to more easily take advantage of the digitization of services across sectors.  Additionally, this consistency better enables companies to integrate into security supply chains. In addition to discussing these themes at a high level, this session will highlight why ISO/IEC 27110 can serve as the shared starting point for cyber frameworks internationally.

This session will focus on the importance of international interoperability of cybersecurity frameworks that underpin national cybersecurity policy, regulation, and legislative development. Though the adoption of a shared starting point for developing national cyber frameworks, countries can develop these policies and regulations in a way that allows for the seamless deployment of cybersecurity best practices across countries.  This helps businesses across sectors to offer the latest solutions to markets across the world and allows countries to quickly take advantage of secure offerings afforded by the digitization of services across sectors.  Additionally, this consistency better enables companies to integrate into security supply chains. In addition to discussing these themes at a high level, this session will highlight why ISO/IEC 27103 is best placed to serve as the shared starting point for cyber frameworks internationally.
